I have been married to my beautiful wife for over 30 years, and together we have built a life with our 4 grown children and our 4 amazing grand babies. At the core of who I am, I am passionate about connecting and serving others well.

For 13 years I worked with the U.S. Department of Labor running a Homeland Security Program. I spent 5 years with Home Builders Institute as a Building Construction Technology Instructor, and owned JB Monroe Construction company for 32 years.

Born and raised in East Texas, I am committed to serving the community with my knowledge of building practices protecting one of the most important investments you can make, your home.
